Jamb Specifications
Quanex manufactures door jambs and window jambs in various profiles to meet any project need. Numerous surface wraps are available to provide solutions specific to project aesthetics, protection from the elements, and design.
Fingerjointed Jambs
GLUE: Water-resistant, crosslinked polyvinyl acetate emulsion adhesive. Meets WDMA Type 1 and 2 water resistance. SDS available upon request.
Primed Jambs
PRIMER: Water-based primer, VOC: <0.4 lb/gal
Profile Wrapped Jambs
GLUE: Adhesive is PUR (Polyurethane reactive). Type-1, moisture resistant adhesives available as determined by the application
JAMB THICKNESS:Standard thicknesses of 5/8” and 11/16”. Other thicknesses and widths available as determined by the application.
