SuperCapSR™ Exterior Color Technology
Originally developed from military infrared technology, SuperCapSR™ Exterior Color Technology from Quanex is a patented, co-extruded colorant system that creates a molecularly fused color layer. This layer becomes a permanent part of the window or door profile, absorbing less heat to prevent distortion and offering superior color retention that lasts a lifetime.
SuperCapSR is 12 times more scratch-resistant than painted vinyl, making it tough enough to handle delivery and installation. It has been field-tested in Florida, Arizona, and Kentucky, and it meets AAMA 614 color-hold standards and AAMA 615 durability standards.
This technology is available on a variety of Quanex window and door systems, providing bold colors that complement your high-performance window systems. For information on special color options, please contact your Quanex sales representative.
